Responsibilities
- Maintain, operate, and repair buildings, equipment and systems throughout assigned facilities.
- May also be required to install equipment.
- Must possess the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics and perform general mechanical repairs.
- Provide indirect guidance to others and manage project-specific tasks.
- Perform demand and scheduled preventive maintenance of facility equipment covering all trades including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, refrigeration, pneumatic tube, painting, carpentry, and associated systems in accordance with departmental, hospital, and regulatory agency codes.
- Maintain facilities and equipment in hospital or clinic environments.
- Scheduled to work various shifts and weekends to meet hospital needs, not necessarily within craft lines.
- May require travel to other BCHS facilities for maintenance work.
Requirements
- Education: High School or Equivalent
- Prior Experience: 3 years maintenance experience, 2 years hospital-related preferred
- Licenses: FL Driver's License
- Specific Skills: Critical thinking skills, teamwork abilities, organizational skills, computer skills appropriate to the position, time management skills, use of hand and power tools
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Technical Degree in a related field preferred
- 3 years of maintenance experience
- 2 years of hospital-related experience preferred

Pay
The salary range for this position is $X - $Y based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
The shift is 10:30pm – 7:00am, Monday – Friday, with occasional weekends.
