Maintenance Technician III

About the role

Maintenance Technician repairs, adjusts, and maintains equipment daily. This position is Forklift Certified. This position directly impacts customer satisfaction and profitability. Due to the physical demands of this job, it is essential that correct lifting techniques, proper body mechanics, as well as applicable safe work practices be utilized.

Responsibilities

• Gets work order per assigned area, prioritizing work order from Maintenance Supervisor.
• Troubleshoots and repairs electrical equipment.
• Maintains and repairs all production equipment.
• Troubleshoots production equipment using PLC.
• Edits programs to accommodate new procedures on existing equipment.
• Edits programs to control the edition of conveyors or stacking machinery.
• Changes motors,
• Reads electrical schematics.
• Installs/repairs plumbing.
• Splices conveyor belts.
• Rebuilds gear boxes.
