Position Overview

The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks, including lock and key repairs, interior and exterior repairs, electrical work, HVAC maintenance, and unit inspections. This position works at properties with 100+ units.

Responsibilities

• Performs lock and key replacements and repairs, including weather stripping, door and window functioning, and locks.
• Carries out all interior repairs related to walls and doors.
• Executes electrical repairs involving fixtures, lights, plugs, and switches.
• Changes AC filters, checks coils, cleans, and repairs as needed.
• Conducts annual unit inspections.
• Ensures timely turnover of units within 5 days.

Qualifications

• High School/GED or equivalent with 2+ years of related apartment maintenance experience.
• Knowledge and skills in plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
• CADL, Clean DMV, and reliable transportation.
• Basic computer skills.
• Yardi Voyager a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must pass a criminal background check and satisfactory completion of background check and fingerprinting requirements.
