Maintenance Technician II (Mansion Grove)
About the role
The Neighbor Service Technician II is responsible for performing all general maintenance tasks including service requests and turnover functions to maintain and preserve the Neighborhood and provide a quality living environment for the Neighbors.
Responsibilities
- Show Neighbors they feel at HOME, well-cared for, and genuinely proud to live in our Neighborhoods.
- Timely completion of all phases of apartment turnovers.
- Troubleshooting and repair of most major and all minor mechanical systems.
- Basic appliance repairs and installation, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and painting for Neighbors.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Minimum of two years' experience and/or training in apartment maintenance.
- Basic computer proficiency and understanding of building materials and tools.
- Standing, climbing, balancing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, hearing, and visual acuity required.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Availability: Available for on-call services.
- Communication Skills: Ability to speak, communicate, read, write, and understand primary languages used in the workplace, including English.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency and understanding of building materials and tools.
- Physical Demands: Requires standing, climbing, balancing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, hearing, and visual acuity. Most work tasks are performed outdoors. Temperature is moderate. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

Pay
Pay Range: $31.00 to $32.25 per hour
