Maintenance Technician II
Summary of Position:
Maintain facilities and equipment, assist with set-up and clean-up of company events, and manage department supply inventory. Understand basic troubleshooting and commercial building concepts.
- Assist with maintaining department appearance and reputation with organization staff and communities served.
- Perform daily maintenance tasks such as inventory, repairs, troubleshooting, and event set-up and clean-up.
- Keep certifications and maintain medical and dental equipment repairs.
- Operate and maintain tools safely, follow Maintenance Policy, Procedures, and Compliance.
- Participate in staff/agency meetings and assist with projects and tasks as directed.
- Perform other maintenance or administrative functions as directed.
Performance Requirements:
- Read, write, and understand English.
- Lift heavy items and work in all weather conditions.
- Able to work evenings and weekends.
- Work well within a diverse team.
- Show excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Plan and complete tasks with attention to detail and effective time management.
- Understand basic computer operations including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Operate company vehicles and have a valid driver's license.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 3 years in commercial facility maintenance and 2 years skilled trade experience.
