Maintenance Technician II - Buckeye

As a Maintenance Technician 2 – Conveyor Systems, you will ensure proper operation of conveyor systems and material handling equipment to keep operations running smoothly, responding in a timely manner to all material handling systems breakdowns.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, and repair conveyor systems in accordance with federal and state regulations as well as company standards.
- Maintain and provide routine preventive maintenance to conveyor systems.
- Change and repair parts of conveyor systems, as well as rebuild and align equipment, gears, shafts, pulleys, and belts.
- Use illustrated parts breakdown manuals and operational manuals in the repair, modification, and maintenance of equipment.
- Conduct daily inspections of machinery for potential problems.
- Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to policies and procedures as outlined in the Company Safety Program.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
- 3 years or greater related experience and/or training in mechanical and electrical equipment.
- High voltage electrical experience is required.
- Current Driver's License and clean driving record.
Qualifications
- The ability to learn and follow all safety regulations and job instructions to perform job duties.
- The ability to utilize company tools and purchase new tools as needed.
- The knowledge of Material Handling Systems (MHS), industrial conveyor systems and controls in distribution, shipping, and sorting environments, VFDs, and electronic motors (480V).
- The knowledge of LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out), PMs (Preventative Maintenance), and 3-Phase electrical work.
- The ability to read and understand schematics and electrical blueprints.
- The ability to maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate 24-hour operations, occasionally working extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay
The expected starting base pay range for this position is $26.15 - $32.69 with a full potential base salary range over a successful candidate’s tenure in the position of $26.15 - $39.23. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other job-related factors.
Schedule
Shift(s): Wednesday to Saturday - 10:00am to 8:30pm (Schedule subject to change based on the needs of the business).
