Prioritize Safety
- Follow all safety guidelines with a strong emphasis on: Lock-out Tag-out, Fall protection, and OSHA compliance.
- Detect safety hazards and plan/organize safe solutions.
Diagnostics & Maintenance
- Utilize Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) to perform equipment diagnostics and preventative maintenance on motor control systems, forklifts, scanners and building systems.
- Identify damaged or defective equipment and repair in a timely manner.
Embody a Learning Mindset
- Provide departmental training based on areas of expertise and attend periodic training / retraining / certification, as appropriate.
Project Management and Training
- Lead projects and effectively direct the efforts of others through the course of the project.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of previous facilities maintenance/maintenance technician experience;
- In-depth knowledge and previous experience working with high-speed conveyor systems and all related components, required;
- Proficient in the operation and utilization of various test and metering equipment, required;
- Obtain and maintain powered industrial vehicle (PIV) licenses to operate all PIV equipment associated with the warehouse within 90 days of employment, required;
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, required;
- High School Diploma/GED required.
