Maintenance Technician II

Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of manufacturing equipment, material handling systems, building infrastructure, and production support equipment. This position performs preventative maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, inspections, and equipment installations while helping minimize downtime and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Technical, vocational, or trade school training preferred
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance required
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Forklift and hoist experience required
• Basic computer skills
• Understanding of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices
• Experience with welding, HVAC, PLCs, or industrial controls is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, twisting, and reaching
• Climb ladders, work at heights, and work in confined spaces when required
• Manual dexterity to operate tools and equipment safely and with precision
• Ability to work in manufacturing environments that may include heat, cold, dust, noise, and varying conditions
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, respirators, and other equipment as required
