Maintenance Technician II

About the role

The Maintenance Technician II position is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the facility operates efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations to ensure equipment is running smoothly
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all facility equipment
• Respond to emergency situations as needed
• Keep records of maintenance activities and submit reports as required

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience in maintenance or a similar field
• Valid California Driver’s License
• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and other facility maintenance procedures
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay

$18.50 - $20.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with some evening and weekend shifts as needed.
