Key Responsibilities
- Install, test, calibrate, repair, and maintain electrical/electronic control systems for high-speed manufacturing equipment
- Troubleshoot and perform corrective/preventive maintenance on process control systems and equipment failures
- Support and maintain PLC systems (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and industrial communication networks (Profibus, ControlNet, Ethernet)
- Diagnose and repair motor drive systems, including variable frequency and DC drives
- Install and maintain advanced systems such as robotics and high-speed camera-based quality control equipment
- Interpret and work from engineering schematics, diagrams, and vendor documentation
- Use diagnostic tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, VOM) to analyze and resolve complex electrical issues
- Contribute to productivity and technology improvement projects while ensuring equipment reliability and performance
What are we looking for?
- Associate degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or related field (or military equivalent)
- 3+ years of experience in electronics within high-speed manufacturing or process control environments
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to repair complex electronic circuits
- Solid understanding of electronic components, systems, and industrial automation
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and engineering documentation
- Proficiency with electronic diagnostic tools and basic Microsoft Office applications
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with peers and management
