Responsible For
- Ensure contractor compliance with EH&S policies and procedures, including Hot Work and Lock Out Tag Out; uphold all safety procedures and safe practices.
- Operate, maintain, and monitor all equipment, utilities systems that supply GMP manufacturing.
- Proactively perform routine inspection of the utilities, equipment and facilities to ensure functionality and audit readiness.
- Respond to critical alarms for equipment systems; investigate equipment failures and serves as system expert for troubleshooting and repairs purposes.
- Document all work on validated systems including equipment logs, readings, and alarm investigations.
- Analyze water systems, perform trend analysis and provide recommendations for program improvements and changes.
- Respond to adverse conditions and implements corrective actions to restore equipment and/or utility to normal operation.
- Escort, contractors in the execution of project activities, troubleshooting, planned and unplanned maintenance.
- Participate in Facilities maintenance 24/7 on-call or emergency response rotation with limited supervision.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED equivalency.
- 2-year Trade School or 3 years related industry experience, or some combination thereof.
- Previous experience in a GMP and/or cleanroom facility preferred.
- Previous experience in a GMP facility preferred.
- WFI systems, Purified Water, Clean Steam, Compressed gas, Practical knowledge of GMPs and working in an SOP environment.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management software (i.e., Blue Mountain).
- Basic understanding of computer programs such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Must be able to work in a team environment as well as independently.
- Practical knowledge of GMPs.
