Responsibilities
- Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems in commercial or industrial establishments.
- Assembles, installs or repairs wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery, and equipment.
- Inspects, operates, and tests machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
- Repairs or replaces defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools and reassembles equipment.
- Determines how to correct mechanical problems by checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs.
- Provides technical assistance on new or existing equipment.
- Completes stock requisitions to maintain maintenance supply inventories.
- Performs preventative maintenance procedures.
- Performs Confined Space Entries following all necessary procedures and policies.
- Assists in the removal of snow (shoveling, snow blowing, salting, truck plowing etc.).
- Trains and participates as a member of the Company’s Fire Brigade Team and First Aid Team.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Minimum three years of related experience and/or training in equipment maintenance in a manufacturing setting; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Possess high mechanical ability and a working knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, welding, soldering, and other related skills.
- Experience with both installing and repairing various industrial plumbing processes.
- Able to communicate effectively in English both written and orally.
- Valid driver’s license with no violations.
Physical Demands
- Frequently required to walk and stand;
- Use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls;
- Reach with hands and arms;
- Climb or balance;
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs;
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.

Pay
Hourly Pay: $24.00 - $31.00 DOE
Schedule
2nd Shift – Monday – Friday, 3:00pm-11:30pm
Ability to work overtime during the week and Saturdays.
