About the role
The Maintenance Technician II position is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks in support of facility operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment and systems
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls
- Install and repair HVAC systems
- Inspect and maintain plumbing systems
- Perform electrical repairs and installations
- Assist with landscaping and grounds maintenance
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- At least 2 years of related experience
- Experience with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Physical ability to perform manual labor
Skills
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
