Essential Responsibilities
- Complete assigned work requests and assigned preventative maintenance work orders as assigned by supervisor
- Such as, but not limited to auto/small engine mechanics, carpentry, appliance repair, plumbing, electrical, emergency generators, low voltage applications, swimming pools, fire alarms, valves, fixtures, locks
- Inspire and inspect facilities, systems and their components for the purpose of ensuring safety and cleanliness and identifying necessary repairs
- Must be able to use a variety of hand tools and small power tools and other power tools
- Maintain tools and/or equipment for ensuring the availability of equipment in safe operating condition
- Maintains general labor and responsibility for event set-ups, deliveries and moves
- Troubleshoot building and equipment issues as they arise
- Willingness to learn and expand trade knowledge of maintenance and facilities
- Have availability to be included in the on-call schedule
Education And Work Experience Required
- Degree: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Certificate(s): Valid Driver’s License and Certifications in applicable field
- Experience: 1+ Years
Knowledge, Skills, And Ability
- Advanced skill knowledge of working of machinery, equipment and systems within the field.
- Ability to diagnose and repair various equipment.
- Knowledge in safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to problem solve and work in a team.
- Ability to adapt, prioritize and communicate.
Physical Requirements
- Sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office/community setting.
- Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to operate various equipment base on department and weather conditions.
- Engaging in repetitive movements of wrists, hands, and fingers – typing and/or writing.
- Clarity of Vision: For near visual acuity Clarity of vision at approximately 20 inches or less (i.e., working with small objects or reading small print), including use of computers.
- For far visual acuity, Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more.
Pay Range
Pay Range $19.13 - $25.43 per hour
Reasonable Pay Estimate
A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $19.13 - $25.43 per hour. There are numerous factors taken into consideration in determining the actual offered rate of pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and consideration of internal and external equity.
