The starting pay for this position is $27.50. Responsibilities
- Ensures production lines and other equipment are maintained and able to run at all times
- Assists in developing and prioritizing work orders with Maintenance Manager, Production Supervision and Line Leads
- Completes work order requests as defined by Maintenance Manager, Productions Management/Supervision, and/or Operators
- Supports workplace organization programs (6S) and production efficiency programs (TPM)
- Assists, coaches, and trains operators in daily preventative maintenance (CIL) checks
- Supports and assists preventative maintenance process on the shift
- Contributes and assists in line commissioning after maintenance/process events
- Assists and participates with other plant projects as needed
- Operates in a manner that provides value to the team
- Performs additional duties as needed and/or assigned by supervision/management
Requirements
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
- Advanced education and/or related-certification(s), a plus
- 0 plus years of experience in role of Maintenance Tech I
- Computer skills to include: Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
- Will meet qualification and certification requirements established by TimberTech's Training Resources and Knowledge (TRAK) program
- Completion of two year Maintenance Certification course
- Stick and wire welding experience required with structural welding certification, a plus
- Forklift experience required with the ability to complete TT Forklift Certification program
Skills & Abilities
- Proven experience in working unassisted with and troubleshooting: Electrical, Electronic, Motor Controller Drives, Mechanical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems
- Strong background in manufacturing systems in dynamic fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of extrusion process, twin screw setup, blending system a plus
- Knowledge of PLC Logic technology, a plus
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings
- Strong decision making, analytical skills and proven ability to work cross-functionally
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving abilities
- Strong mathematical skills
- Success in planning, executing and managing projects
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate upward and downward to a wide range of audiences
- Must be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in fast-paced, 24/7
