Maintenance Technician II

Who we are looking for:

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Technician II to be based out of Thomasville, GA. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician II will be responsible for maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment, ensuring safe and operable condition of machinery and performing routine preventative maintenance.

What you’ll do:

  • Maintain and repair equipment used to manufacture, package, convey, and store PVC conduit.
  • Ensure safe and operable condition of machinery and mechanical components by completing required PMs on engines, motors, and pneumatic tools.
  • Perform basic electrical tasks.
  • Perform welding, plumbing, pipe fitting and fabricating duties as required.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and report potentially unsafe conditions immediately.

What you’ll bring:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Mechanical skill set experience.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes desired.
  • Any other requirements/qualifications as needed within 3 months of starting the role.

Other Information:

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $31.56/hr. Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
