About the role

Maintains general maintenance duties, with potential for supervising a Maintenance Laborer.

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets blueprints and schematics.
• Documents and keeps records of assigned maintenance functions.
• Adheres to all company safety policies, procedures and responsibilities concerning accident prevention including reporting any safety concerns to a supervisor immediately.
• Performs general maintenance, including troubleshooting and repairing major system breakdowns.
• Performs preventive maintenance on locks and locking devices.
• Installs and repairs carpet and vinyl flooring.
• Electrical Repairs: Replaces burned out light bulbs, checks electrical circuits, repairs dimmers, refrigeration controls, and contacts.
• Carpentry/Drywall/Painting: Repairs furniture, doors, windows, slot machine stands, gambling tables, and millwork; fabricates office partitions, doors, counters, panel walls, and ceilings.
• Plumbing: Installs, connects, and tests sanitary plumbing fixtures, fire sprinklers, hydraulics, refrigeration, various gas, steam, and other pressure systems.
• HVAC: Handles regular preventive maintenance of all HVAC and refrigeration equipment; operates Energy Management systems; ensures safe, efficient operation of all equipment relevant to boilers, chillers, pumps, life safety equipment, air handlers, and emergency generators.
• Kitchen Equipment: Responsible for the repair and maintenance of all industrial kitchen equipment; diagnoses problems and determines best course of action for repairs; maintains physical inventory of kitchen equipment; coordinates installation of new equipment; communicates with vendors and culinary staff; handles communication between vendor and culinary staff; ensures safe and proper use of equipment.

Qualifications

• Valid Arizona Drivers license and meets MVR requirements to operate a company vehicle.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year work experience in at least 1 trade required; equivalent combination of education and experience also acceptable.
• Certificate or vocational education diploma preferred.
