About the Role

This entry-level position ensures the pipeline system is operated and maintained in compliance with all Company and applicable regulatory requirements to maximize return on investment capital. The role is an initial one-year W2 contract with the possibility of extension, based in Mansfield, LA.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform maintenance and troubleshooting activities for gas pipelines and related appurtenances.
• Develop spreadsheets and databases to track and analyze pipeline efficiencies, DOT compliance issues, and O&M costs.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, OCC, ODEQ, EPA, FERC, One-Call, and other regulatory agencies where applicable.
• Handle all DOT/OCC compliance issues.
• Perform assessments of company facilities to ensure compliance with industry and company O&M procedures and practices.
• Maintain strict surveillance and enforcement of security, safety, and environmental rules and procedures at company pipelines.
• Perform all duties in accordance with Expand’s Environmental, Health, and Safety Guidelines.
• Ride all pipelines as part of scheduled inspections to ensure the integrity of the right-of-ways (ROW), checking for leaks and encroachments.
• Communicate effectively with planners and the public in a manner fitting to Expand.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to travel long distances on a UTV in various environmental conditions.
• Ability to read and interpret computer-based maps.
• Ability to perform physical activities requiring considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
