Maintenance Technician I - Manchester (NH)
Job Summary
We are seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to join our team at a leading Regional Airport facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance of facility equipment and systems to ensure smooth operations and compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in maintenance within the industrial or building maintenance industry.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems;
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become critical;
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes;
- Cookordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance and repair work;
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and inventory of supplies;
- Respond promptly to building emergencies and resolve issues efficiently;
- Assist in the implementation of energy-saving initiatives and sustainability practices;
- Collaborate with other departments to support facility-related projects and improvements.
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with Department of Homeland Security, Airport standards and facility regulations;
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation in accordance with Equans requirements;
- Participate in audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Safety and Quality Assurance
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment;
- Identify and report safety hazards and work with the team to implement corrective actions;
- Ensure maintenance work is performed to the highest quality standards to maintain equipment reliability and performance.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the US;
- Qualified to pass a background check and security screening;
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in maintenance within the industrial or building maintenance industry;
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
