Maintenance Technician I-III (2nd Shift)

About the Role

This position engages in production equipment maintenance to ensure continuous production, including troubleshooting, regular preventive maintenance plan execution (TPM), and equipment modification. May also involve basic mechanical or electrical work as needed and as qualified.

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective and preventative maintenance of production equipment and their controls to ensure operation of machinery.
• Communicate directly with the production department to coordinate preventative maintenance and troubleshooting work in production areas.
• Prepare and manage periodic preventative maintenance schedules.
• Keep records of all preventative maintenance and troubleshooting works.
• Coordinate with outside sources to schedule maintenance for more complex issues.
• Ensure work is completed in a safe manner and maintain a safe work environment.
• Prepare and maintain maintenance-related documents, including daily reports and check sheets.
• Maintain cleanliness at the work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards: Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container.
• Follow LGESMI existing cleaning SOPs during downtime (e.g., line stop, waiting time), including cleaning your designated machine and/or surrounding work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Vocational Certificate or Associate Degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experience.
• Journeyman’s certificate or equivalent preferred.

Experience

• 1-7+ years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• PLC experience preferred.
• Understanding of production and processing equipment.
• Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge.
