Salary Ranges
- Level I - $38,098 - $59,052 - Grade A12(3)
- Level II - $44,968 - $71,948 - Grade B21(3)
- Level III - $53,286 - $85,258 - Grade B22(3)
Other Job Requirements/Information
- This job is a safety sensitive position that will require a pre-employment drug test and subsequent random drug and alcohol testing.
- This job may require on-call rotation and emergency after hours, weekends, and/or holidays.
- Effective 4/11/2023, this position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program.
Minimum Qualifications
Maintenance Technician I
- Completion of coursework up through the eighth grade
- Or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job
- Valid driver's license
- Class A Commercial Driver's License must be obtained within 6 months of employment
Maintenance Technician II
- Completion of coursework up through the eighth grade
- One year of related public works maintenance experience
- Or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job
- Valid driver's license
- Class A Commercial Driver's License must be obtained within 12 months of employment
- CPR/First Aid Certificate must be obtained within 6 months
- Road Flagging Certificate must be obtained within 6 months
- Trench and Excavation Certificate must be obtained within 6 months
- Confined Space Certificate must be obtained within 6 months
Maintenance Technician III
- Completion of coursework up through the eighth grade
- Three years of related public works maintenance experience
- Or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job
- Valid driver's license
- Class A Commercial Driver's License must be obtained within 12 months of employment
- CPR/First Aid Certificate must be obtained within 6 months
- Road Flagging Certificate must be obtained within 6 months
- Trench and Excavation Certificate must be obtained within 6 months
