About the role
The Neighbor Service Technician I is responsible for efficiently performing all general maintenance tasks, including service requests and turnover functions, to maintain and preserve the Neighborhood and provide a quality living environment for the Neighbors. First and foremost, it's your job to ensure our Neighbors feel at home, well-cared for, and genuinely proud to live in our Neighborhoods.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure Neighbors feel at home and proud of their community.
- Complete all phases of apartment turnovers in a timely manner.
- Troubleshoot and repair major and minor mechanical systems.
- Perform basic appliance repairs and installations, plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, and painting.
- Be available for on-call services.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Minimum of two years of experience and/or training in apartment maintenance.
- Ability to speak, communicate, read, write, and understand English (or other primary workplace languages) for safety and customer service.
- Basic computer proficiency and understanding of building materials and tools.
- Must be able to stand, climb, balance, sit, walk, perform repetitive motions, hear, and have visual acuity. Most work is performed outdoors in moderate temperatures.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Pay
Compensation Pay Range: $27.75 to $28.75 per hour.
