Maintenance Technician I

Responsibilities

• Conduct corrective and preventative maintenance of production equipment and their controls to ensure operation of machinery.
• Communicate directly with the production department to coordinate preventative maintenance and troubleshooting work in production areas.
• Prepare and manage periodic preventative maintenance schedule.
• Coordinate with outside sources to schedule maintenance for more complex issues.
• Ensure work is completed in a safe manner and maintain a safe work environment.
• Prepare and maintain maintenance related documents of daily report and check sheets.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Vocational Certificate or Associates Degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experience.
• Journeyman’s certificate or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: 1-3+ years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• PLC experience preferred.
• Understanding of production and processing equipment.
• Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge.
