About the role
Hood Packaging Corporation is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for their Summerville, SC location.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment.
- Perform regular inspections of machinery and equipment, carrying out preventative maintenance.
- Fulfill other duties such as building maintenance as assigned.
- Assist in ensuring HACCP, GMP’s, Work Instructions, and Food Safety Quality system requirements (SQF) are in compliance.

Qualifications
- Experience in mechanical maintenance and repair.
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP’s, Work Instructions, and SQF systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent, and relevant certifications preferred.
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
