Maintenance Technician I

Job Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning and disinfecting of high-touch surfaces
• Clean and pick up trash/debris from parking lots and exterior trash and recycling cans
• Clean and maintain restrooms
• Vacuuming and mopping to maintain clean auction house floors
• Maintain all buildings, property and equipment for the site
• Ensure all buildings are kept clean
• Empty and clean wastebaskets and trash containers
• Restocking restrooms and office supplies
• Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such
• Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor, i.e., moving furniture, unloading and storing supplies, etc.
• May be required to work overtime as business needs dictate

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field
• The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline
• 5 years' experience in a related field
• Safe driver's needed; valid driver's license required

Preferred

• Good communication and organizational skills required

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear
• Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb
• Medium strength
• Ability to lift 1-50 pounds

Compensation

Hourly pay rate is in the range of $18.17 - $27.31/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities.
