Maintenance Technician (HVAC/R) - Healthcare

About the role

The Maintenance Technician (HVAC/R) is responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in residential buildings. This includes troubleshooting issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring all systems operate efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC/R systems using diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks to ensure systems are operating at optimal levels.
• Respond to emergency calls to address system malfunctions promptly.
• Document work performed and communicate findings to supervisors.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• At least 2 years of experience in HVAC/R maintenance or related field.
• Knowledge of HVAC/R systems and components.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Good physical condition to perform manual labor.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

• Proficiency in HVAC/R diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Experience with refrigeration systems.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Pay

Schedule
