About the role
The Service Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining the appearance and operational excellence of the property. They are responsible for addressing immediate needs and ensuring the safety and comfort of residents.
Responsibilities
- Prepare units for move-ins with necessary repairs.
- Complete work orders within 24 hours and report emergency work orders promptly.
- Handle 24-hour emergency maintenance and on-call responsibilities.
- Manage grounds maintenance tasks including pick-up, sweeping, and light landscaping.
- Assist with snow removal or hurricane preparation and cleanup as needed.
- Demonstrate strong customer service skills and maintain clear communication with residents, vendors, and team members.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED.
- At least one year of relevant experience.
- Preferred certifications: OSHA, EPA, and CPO.
- Strong written, verbal, and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of facilities management and mechanical equipment.
- Criminal background screening required.
- Valid driver's license and up-to-date vehicle insurance.
- Completion of the Wonderlic pre-employment assessment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 1+ years of relevant experience required.

Pay
Premium pay is available for required duties completed outside regular operating hours based on business needs and after-hours coverage.
Schedule
Monday - Friday schedule with on-call responsibilities.
