MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN (Grounds)

Responsibilities

• Provide superior guest service, positively affect interactions with guests and employees, and have the resiliency to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions.
• Work effectively and courteously with fellow employees.
• Maintain, repair, and replace gaming table layouts with instructions provided by a supervisor.
• Perform routine maintenance on the systems with instruction from supervisory personnel.
• Perform basic painting, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and other projects relating to maintenance of the property with guidance from supervisory personnel.
• Follow outline of preventative maintenance as scheduled.
• Absorb and dispose of any cups, glasses, bottles, or other items left on the floor by guests.
• Ensure the safety and security of all guests and employees.
• Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.
• Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and Company policies in an ethical manner and empower and require others to do the same.
• Work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts and work locations may change.
• Perform other duties as assigned or reasonably requested by any member of management.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Proficient in English verbal and written.
• Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a 1055 gaming license.
• Must possess valid driver’s license and maintain good driving record.
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Two years of maintenance experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
