About the role
The Maintenance Technician position at Grandview Flats and Townhomes in Granger, IN, is part of 2B Residential, a leading provider of Class A multi-family management.
Responsibilities
- Aid in achieving 2B's objectives regarding resident satisfaction and retention.
- Install and maintain control and distribution apparatus, ensuring proper functioning and safety.
- Inspect buildings and equipment rooms, recording and reporting on equipment malfunctions and making necessary adjustments.
- Operate and manage all HVAC equipment, and assist in managing building access systems.
- Maintain a safe and accessible environment for residents and visitors.
- Complete maintenance tasks as directed by property staff, following emergency and privacy protocols.
- Communicate with management about the need for major repairs or additions.
Qualifications
- Working knowledge in plumbing, electrical, and small appliance repair.
- Preferred HVAC/EPA certification.
- High school diploma or GED, with one year of related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A valid driver's license and automobile insurance, along with reliable transportation.
