MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME)

About the role

SSC is hiring immediate full-time MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN positions. Openings are available at other locations within the school district. Schedule: Full time, Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. More details upon interview.

Responsibilities

• Aids in decision-making on repairs; reports major issues to supervisors.
• Constructs, finishes, installs, maintains, and repairs electrical and mechanical systems.
• Cleans, lubricates, services, repairs, or diagnoses malfunctioning HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Serves as a project leader and supervises a team.
• Trains others on advanced maintenance skills.
• Reviews work of outside vendors and licensed workers; makes punch lists.
• Reports and repairs discrepancies as assigned.
• Analyzes and corrects complex building system problems.
• Maintains logs, performs rounds, and completes work orders, tests, and inspections.
• Makes recommendations for modifying or improving preventive maintenance systems.
• Serves as a member of the facility emergency response team.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• One year of maintenance experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master license in one trade or two of the following: Journeyman Electrical License, Registered ACR Technician with EPA certification in Refrigerant, Journeyman Plumber License, etc.
• Valid driver’s license.

• Ability to read, comprehend, and transmit detailed instructions verbally and in writing.
• Leadership and supervisory skills.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Pay

Pay Range: $16.00 per hour to $20.00 per hour.

Schedule

Full time schedules; Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. More details upon interview. (Full and Part Time with the flexibility to meet most scheduling needs)
