Maintenance Technician - FT
About the role
The position is responsible for the maintenance of over 350,000 square feet and more than 13 acres of grounds for all facilities held by Northern Montana Health Care located in both Havre and Harlem, MT. The position requires a highly skilled individual with working knowledge and/or skills in the following areas: maintenance and repair of a boilermaker, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire alarm and sprinkler system(s), snow removal and grounds maintenance, fire and life safety compliance, risk management best practices and general construction and labor skills. Requires ability to multi-task, demonstrate excellent customer service, with some computer skills necessary. Skills and working knowledge of boilermaker, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire alarm and sprinkler system(s).
Responsibilities
- Maintenance and repair of a boilermaker, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire alarm and sprinkler system(s)
- Snow removal and grounds maintenance
- General construction
Qualifications
- High school graduate or G.E.D.
- Experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC and refrigeration.
- Ability to shovel snow and heavy lifting.
- Possess a valid MT driver's license with a clean record.
- 21 years of age in accordance with employer's insurance requirements.
- Ability to successfully pass Background Check and Drug Screen.
Skills
- Skills and working knowledge of boilermaker, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire alarm and sprinkler system(s).
