Maintenance Technician Food Manufacturing
Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul and recommend improvements for equipment
- Review daily schedule to ensure equipment setup
- Compliance with plant safety and environmental regulations
Requirements
- Fabrication, machine shop skills and a mechanical background
- Develop working relationships to ensure correction of machine failures and implement preventative maintenance measures
- Complete work orders and record material used on jobs
- Experienced in operating a variety of equipment, including forklift, mechanical lifts, ladders, scaffolding and hand tools
- Working knowledge of conveyors, variable frequency drives, electrical motors and industrial controls
- Use blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturer's installation manuals to complete assigned projects
Skills
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Welding, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Pumps, Gearboxes, and Boilers

About the Role
You will work onsite at Conagra Brand Foods (Vlasic), located in Imlay City, Michigan. You will work in a team environment reporting to shift supervisor. Daily overtime and weekends scheduled based on business demand.
Schedule
Openings available on both the afternoon and midnight shift.
Pay
Hourly Rate determined by Experience/ Skills/ Certifications - Full mechanical rate $31.08 + $0.25/hour 2nd shift.
Qualifications
Eligible for Michigan Earned Sick Time. You will earn one hour for every thirty hours worked.
