Maintenance Technician-Experienced | Pay: $30/hr. + Quarterly Bonus

About the Role

Village Green is seeking an experienced, dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and being part of a team that takes pride in maintaining safe, comfortable, and well-maintained communities.

Responsibilities

• Timely completion of work orders and special projects
• Completion of plumbing and electrical service requests
• Completion of apartment turns including plumbing, electrical, drywall repair, painting, and appliance repair/replacement
• Servicing residents in a friendly, customer service-oriented manner
• Diagnosing problems and performing repairs in electrical and other areas
• Responding to all service requests and on-call emergencies as directed by the Property Manager and Service Manager in a timely and professional manner
• Assisting in maintaining the exterior of the property daily to provide clean and acceptable curb appeal
• Performing housekeeping duties as required, including snow removal during winter months
• Maintaining property pools, spas, and pool areas if applicable

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in the hotel industry or multifamily housing preferred
• Strong experience with plumbing, electrical, appliances, and painting
• Excellent customer service skills and general computer knowledge
• Plumbing, contracting, builder certifications, and licenses are a plus
• Availability for on-call work and flexibility to work weekends when needed
