Maintenance Technician - Calypso

About the role

Greystar is a leading real estate platform managing and operating over $300 billion of real estate in more than 265 markets globally. This Maintenance Technician position is located in Saratoga Springs, Utah.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Prepares vacant apartment homes for leasing and new move-ins by completing the make-ready process.
• Accesses and obtains materials, supplies, equipment, tools, and other items from the property’s maintenance department.
• Documents and tracks service requests in a timely, accurate, and complete manner.
• Maintains the grounds, common areas, and amenities by performing tasks such as picking up trash, pressure-washing, cleaning, and painting.
• Supports cost-cutting and expense control programs by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible.

Other Responsibilities

• Complies with safety and risk-management policies by attending safety meetings, completing required training, and reporting accidents and incidents promptly.
• Periodically inspects work performed by contractors, vendors, and other service providers to ensure quality standards are met.
• Assists in conducting routine and periodic property inspections to identify safety and risk management concerns.

Physical Demands

• Standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods.
• Bending, stooping, climbing ladders, reaching, carrying objects, and crawling in confined areas.
• Working inside and outside in all weather conditions.
• Pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, or maneuvering weights of up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance.
• Rare or regular travel may be required.
• Flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Required Licenses or Certifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling (for Certified Service Technicians).
• All certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions (for all Service Technicians).
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property (if applicable).

Pay

The hourly range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00. Additional compensation includes a quarterly or annual bonus program for corporate positions and weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs for onsite property positions.
