Responsibilities
- Prioritize safety as the top concern, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols, policies, and procedures.
- Diagnose malfunctions in automated systems, identify faulty components, and repair or replace them efficiently.
- Understand and modify PLC logic to adjust system behavior and optimize production processes.
- Understand and modify Robot programs to adjust system behavior and optimize production processes.
- Identify and resolve issues with electrical wiring, sensors, actuators, motors, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and other mechanical components.
- Implement new automation technologies, software updates, and hardware upgrades to improve system functionality.
- Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and system configurations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment using automation or an associate degree in Automation and Robotics.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical degree or equivalent to 2+ years of formal technical training required.
- Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems, with 2+ years of experience working with industrial automation components such as Robots, PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and actuators.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience troubleshooting and modifying PLC control logic.
- Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and resolving complex system issues in an automated manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to analyze technical issues and implement solutions with a focus on minimizing downtime and improving efficiency.
- Blueprint & Schematic Reading: Ability to interpret and apply blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals with 2+ years of experience.
- Proficiency in CMMS software, MS Office, and industrial automation software for documentation and troubleshooting.
