Maintenance Technician

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain tool crib inventory, ensuring tools and equipment are available for customer use.
• Issue, track, and receive tools while maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Inspect tools and equipment for safety, functionality, and proper condition.
• Perform minor maintenance and coordinate repairs as needed.
• Conduct inventory audits and assist with replenishing tools and supplies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe tool crib environment.
• Assist with creating signs and labels and support Sign Shop operations through cross-training.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication skills.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Self-motivated team player.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to learn inventory, logistics, and design software.

Preferences

• Prior Tool Crib experience preferred.
• Warehouse, inventory, or materials management experience preferred.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Experience with tool tracking and inventory control systems.
• Basic maintenance and troubleshooting experience is a plus.

Physical Effort/Activities

• May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, able to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50-75 pounds.
