Maintenance Duties
- Make ready units for new move-ins
- Complete grounds work including: grounds pick up, blowing of breezeways and light landscaping
- Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor to complete projects and work orders efficiently
- Perform minor electrical maintenance including: replacement or repair of fixtures, using appropriate hand, power and specialty tools
- Perform minor plumbing maintenance including: replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging of drains, adding new lines, etc.
- Perform minor painting, carpentry and masonry work including: preparing surfaces and using brush, sprayer, or roller to apply paints, stains, and varnishes, hanging doors, fitting locks and handles, etc.
- Hold HVAC certification and have knowledge on systems to maintain, repair, and replace HVAC systems
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
- Schedule and complete preventative maintenance program
- Read and interpret equipment manuals to perform required maintenance and service
- Respond to emergency situations during and after hours to resolve immediate concerns
