Job Purpose
The MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN is responsible for the maintenance of a wide variety of production/plant equipment, along with dealing with situations involving advanced electrical/electronic and mechanical troubleshooting/repairs. This role requires independent decision-making to diagnose issues, repair failures, and adjust equipment operating parameters and processes.
Job Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair plant equipment and processes.
- Perform detailed preventative maintenance operations as specified.
- Diagnose problems with PLC’s, vision systems, complex control systems with varying logic.
- Prepare requisitions for spare parts and required maintenance supplies as directed.
- Work from drawings, layouts, instruction manuals, sketches, or verbal instructions.
- Work with precise mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, vacuum, and process ventilation systems.
- Accurately perform the clerical requirements of the Work Order System.
- Operate trucks, man lifts, forklifts, other powered vehicles and maintain documentation.
- Interact with internal customers and provide timely status information.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with the ISO standards, including ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety).
- Adhere to all company rules and safety policies.
Skills & Requirements
- Five Years of Experience as an Electro-Mechanical Tech. with Extensive Electronic and Mechanical Skills.
- Two-Year associate’s degree in electronic technology Required.
- Forklift Certification.
- May perform other duties as required.
- Lifting of up to 50 lbs may be required.
Shift
This position requires a 8AM – 4:30PM shift.
