Maintenance Technician

About the role

Village Green has an immediate Maintenance Technician position available. The role involves servicing residents in a friendly, customer service-oriented manner and responding to all service requests, including on-call emergencies, as directed by the Property Manager and Service Manager.

Responsibilities

• Timely completion of work orders and special projects
• HVAC maintenance and repair
• Completion of plumbing and electrical service requests
• Completion of apartment turns, including:
  • Plumbing
  • Electrical
  • Drywall repair
  • Painting
  • Appliance repair/replacement
• Diagnoses and repairs electrical issues
• Responds to on-call emergencies in a timely and professional manner
• Assists in maintaining the exterior of the property daily to provide clean and acceptable curb appeal
• Housekeeping duties as required, including snow removal during winter months
• Performs property maintenance of pools, spas, and pool areas if applicable

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in the hotel industry or multifamily housing preferred
• Strong experience with plumbing, electrical, appliances, and painting
• Plumbing, contracting, and builders' certifications and licenses are a plus
• Excellent customer service skills and general computer knowledge
• Availability for on-call purposes and flexibility to work weekends when necessary

Pay

$21.02 to $24.78 per hour plus a quarterly bonus.
