Maintenance Technician

About the role

Village Green has an immediate Maintenance Technician position available. Our associates provide excellent customer service and help maintain our apartment communities.

Responsibilities

• Timely completion of work orders and special projects
• Completion of plumbing and electrical service requests
• Completion of apartment turns including plumbing, electrical, drywall repair, painting, and appliance repair/replacement
• Servicing residents in a friendly, customer-service-oriented manner
• Diagnosing problems and performing repairs in electrical and other maintenance areas
• Responding to all service requests and on-call emergencies as directed by the Property Manager and Service Manager in a timely and professional manner
• Assisting in maintaining the exterior of the property daily to provide clean and acceptable curb appeal
• Performing housekeeping duties as required, including snow removal during winter months
• Maintaining property pools, spas, and pool areas if applicable

Requirements

• Experience in the hotel industry or multifamily housing preferred but not required
• Excellent customer service skills and general computer knowledge
• Strong experience with plumbing, electrical, appliances, and painting
• Bilingual candidates welcome
• Plumbing, contracting, builders certifications, and licenses a plus
• Availability for on-call purposes and flexibility to work weekends when necessary
