Responsibilities
- Bench and field calibrate pressure, temperature, and flow sensors
- Set up control valves, positioners, and I/P transducers
- Configure devices using HART communicator or instrument panel buttons
- Perform loop wiring troubleshooting for analog and discrete devices
- Work with 110Vac and 24Vdc wiring while preventing signal interference
- Document calibration activity, labeling, and instrumentation with extreme accuracy
- Install stainless steel tubing for automatic valves
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical and electronic wiring and equipment
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems and components using testing equipment
- Connect wiring to circuit breakers, transformers, and motors
- Inspect electrical systems to ensure compliance with plant standards and codes
- Test electrical continuity using digital multimeters
- Design and install conduit and wiring systems according to specifications
- Read and follow blueprints and job specifications
- Repair or replace electrical components as needed
- Maintain plant utility systems including boilers, air compressors, cooling towers, and water treatment systems
- Monitor boiler feed water chemistry and water treatment parameters
- Perform preventive maintenance including lubrication, inspections, and filter replacement
- Perform mechanical repairs including valves, piping, strainers, and breakers
- Support facility maintenance including HVAC, painting, lighting, and general upkeep
- Absist in MRO storeroom organization and inventory
- Operate company vehicles and assist contract craftspeople
- Use power tools, measuring devices, and testing equipment safely
- Lift and rig equipment and piping
- Work from ladders, scaffolds, lifts, and elevated platforms
- Coooperate with production teams on repairs
- Maintain accurate documentation and permit compliance including lockout/tagout procedures
- Perform housekeeping within assigned areas
- Support ISO 9001, EFfCI, GMP, RSPO, Manufacturing Excellence, and HSSE standards
- Participate fully in plant health, safety, and environmental initiatives
- Complete required HSE training and attend safety meetings
- Follow life-critical procedures and PPE requirements
- Handle hazardous and universal waste in compliance with regulations
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 7+ years in industrial maintenance or construction experience, chemical manufacturing preferred
- 5+ years of experience in emphasis area
- Valid driver’s license
- Forklift operator certification
- Elevated work platform certification
- Strong ability to read blueprints, piping and instrumentation drawings, and manuals
- Strong math skills including fractions, ratios, and measurements
- Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to perform lockout/tagout and permitting procedures
- Proficiency using computers for work orders, drawings, and documentation
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance
