About the role
Maintenance Technician responsible for ensuring a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors, and staff at an affordable housing community.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventative maintenance
- Diagnose and address minor repairs
- Complete make-ready repairs
- Inspect property conditions
- Assist with grounds keeping
- Ensure all safety standards, including EPA and OSHA regulations, are met
- Promptly correct unsafe conditions
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 1 year experience in apartment maintenance
- High school diploma or GED
- HVAC certification preferred
- Valid driver's license and automobile insurance
- Skilled in the safe use of hand and power tools, mechanical equipment
- Able to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 75 lbs, working in all weather conditions, and on feet for extended periods

- Must be flexible to work weekends and on-call as needed
