Maintenance + Technical Duties
- Completes maintenance work orders – as assigned
- Performs necessary maintenance relating to both the exterior and interiors of all buildings of the property assigned
- Maintains inventory of equipment, tools, supplies, and work materials
- Maintains a working knowledge of all utility sources and supply lines
- General maintenance experience includes painting, drywall, plumbing, electrical, mowing, plowing, etc.
- Performs all phases of snow removal from all needed areas and maintains all appropriate equipment
- Paints, cleans, completes maintenance items, and all other items required for the completion of the unit under renovation
- Cleans all common areas and responsible for trash removal
Planning + Oversight + Communication
- Affords assessments and prioritizes all work to be performed on assigned site
- Completes daily work schedules for routine maintenance duties
- Notifies Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager of all problems and potential issues of concern
- Ensures quality of work duties performed
- Handles emergency situations that may arise; and communicates all details of the incident to the Property Manager
Interpersonal + Safety Responsibilities
- Will be available for on-call as necessary
- Maintains a professional and courteous manner with all residents, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees
- Actively participates and follows the safety and health programs
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand/walk for 8 to 10 hours
- Frequent body movements including ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, squat, reach, push, and pull
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors during various weather conditions
