Maintenance Technician

About the role

Toonen Companies Inc., a regional leader in the development, construction, and management of multi-family apartment communities, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Green Bay.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance in apartments, hallways, buildings, and common areas.
• Handle basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC-related repairs.
• Repair and replace appliances as needed.
• Conduct minor plaster, paint, carpentry, and cabinetry repairs.
• Maintain garage doors, fences, siding, and roofs.
• Respond to resident service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Take the initiative to resolve issues.
• Assist with resident events both during and after business hours.
• Participate in rotating after-hours on-call coverage (approximately one week every four weeks, with additional pay and bonuses).

Requirements

• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• A company maintenance van is provided during work and on-call hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in multi-family property maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to perform light carpentry and painting tasks.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Pay

• Competitive pay.
