Maintenance Technician

About the role

Perform welding and fabrication tasks to maintain, repair, and enhance plant equipment and infrastructure within a specialty mining chemicals environment.

Responsibilities

• Read technical drawings
• Inspect and maintain welding tools
• Plan welding work
• Collaborate with maintenance teams
• Adhere to safety protocols

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of industrial welding experience
• Certification in welding (AWS or equivalent)
• Proficiency in TIG, MIG, and stick welding
• Ability to work with carbon steel and stainless steel
• Strong safety knowledge
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Basic computer skills for documentation
