Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the facility
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and departments
- Conduct regular inspections of building systems, equipment, and grounds
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building issues
- Maintain preventative maintenance schedules
- Aid with room preparation and repairs for new admissions or room changes
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and facility standards
- Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies
- Support emergency repairs as needed
Qualifications
- Previous maintenance experience required (healthcare or facility experience preferred)
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and respond quickly to urgent issues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and organizational skills
