Maintenance Technician

About the role

This position involves maintaining daily operations of equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and handling emergency repairs. Installation of new equipment and inspection/repair of existing equipment are also responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily operation of equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance on process equipment and facility systems
• Provide emergency repairs as needed
• Install new equipment
• Inspect and repair existing equipment
• Work overtime as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• One of the following: Journeyman’s Card, 2-Year Technical Degree in Mechanical Nature, or Trade School Certification
• 2-5 years’ experience in maintenance manufacturing environment, preferably in a chemical/production facility
• 2-5 years mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment
• Able to handle up to fifty (50) pounds and physical dexterity to assemble polymerization reactors
• Working knowledge of computer applications (Word, Excel, E-Mail)

Qualifications

• Familiar with ISO-9001 and Process Safety Management
• Certified Welder
• Steam system experience
• Electrical and Instrumentation experience
• English
