Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all company facilities and equipment. This includes performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and implementing preventive measures to maintain optimal performance.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on company equipment and facilities.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues promptly.
• Implement and adhere to preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure facility needs are met.
• Document all work performed and report findings to supervisors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a maintenance or related field.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment.
• Proficiency in using common tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with building automation systems a plus.

Pay

$20-$25 per hour based on experience.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with occasional evening and weekend work as needed.
