Maintenance Technician

What You’ll Do

• Preventive Maintenance (PM) Implementation.
• Auxiliary in the implementation of a preventive maintenance program to reduce downtime and improve equipment lifespan.
• Automation Integration.
• Support the integration of automation where possible to streamline maintenance processes and improve productivity.
• Licence Expiration Control.
• Maintain and manage the expiration dates of important licenses and certifications, such as fire extinguishers, elevators, and air compressor annual verifications.
• Supplier Development.
• Develop relationships with external suppliers to perform mechanical, electrical, and facility maintenance services as needed, ensuring optimal performance of critical assets.
• Problem solving using PDCA.
• Help to implement KPI like: MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure), MTTR (Mean Time to Repair), PM (Preventive Maintenance) and WO closed on time.

What You’ll Bring

• Minimum high school
• 5 years’ production experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge and experience in Lean Principles, Problem solving, flow, standard work, Kanban, 5S
• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate throughout all levels of the organization.
• Challenge and persistence: Continues to take challenges without fear of failure, persistently challenges; embraces change, exercises curiosity, and keeps moving forward once a decision has been made(CSC)
• Sense of Crisis, Sense of Speed, and Sense of Communication: acts promptly with a sense of urgency/crisis, speed to solve the issue, and communication
• Computer skills
• Excellent excel skill, Microsoft offices
• Certificates, licenses
• PDCA (preferred)
