About the role
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be directly involved in maintaining and repairing the network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Your responsibilities include monitoring and reporting on signal leakages and performing necessary repairs.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair the network infrastructure, including cables and equipment
- Monitor and report on signal leakages and perform necessary repairs
- Ensure 24/7 coverage for network services
- Work independently and prioritize tasks based on business needs
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience
- Cable experience of at least 1 year
- Ability to operate appropriate computer or test equipment
- Basic mathematical and electronic knowledge
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic understanding of HFC networks, RF, AC, DC, and customer premise networks
- Experience in telecommunications installation/service
- Experience with Coax and/or fiber network installation and maintenance

Benefits
The base pay for this position generally ranges between $20.25 and $37.10 per hour. Additional forms of incentive-based compensation may be available, including bonuses. For more information, please refer to the company's comprehensive benefits package.
Schedule
You will be required to work on-call in all weather conditions, with hours dictated by business needs.
